The Wye Dore parishes celebrate the Golden Jubilee of Her Majesty the Queen

Despite a wet summer, our parishes celebrated the golden jubilee with enthusiasm. Here are some news and pictures of the events. We can easily add more - just send your files to the webmaster.

A letter of thanks and greeting to the Queen, signed by Bishop Anthony and Bishop Alistair, has been submitted with names of our parishioners.

Peterchurch laid on a superb children's tea in the St Peter's Centre, with lots of fun and games, 3rd June. The adults enjoyed it too!

The Hope Country Gospel Band gave a concert on Sunday 3rd June, with special prayers and some old favourites like ‘Amazing Grace’.
Originally planned for Poston Mill park, the wet weather drove us indoors to St Peter's Church, but still a good time was had...

A celebratory tea party was held on Tuesday 5th June in Vowchurch and Turnastone Memorial Hall.
